Deborah Lucas

Deborah Lucas is a Director at Deloitte New Zealand.  She heads up the Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability function, and also acts as Chief Strategy Officer for the firm.   Deborah’s Corporate Responsibility role gives her the opportunity to develop young leaders with a keen interest in this area – to design and facilitate programs and projects that give life to Deloitte’s purpose – to make an impact that matters.  She continues to undertake some advisory work in the not-for-profit arena, aligning closely with Deloitte’s Social Impact practice.

Deborah was born and raised in Canada, where she first was introduced to the United Way, and has lived in New Zealand for 25 years.  She has 3 grown children and is a keen gardener.
