Community Grants

Grant applications are open until the 31st October, 2018

At United Way New Zealand, we know that not-for profit organisations work hard and give so much in order to build healthy and resilient communities.  That's why we are passionate about connecting charities with financial support.

Prerequisites and Criteria: United Way NZ distribute financial grants on an annual basis. The amount in the collective fund for a region depends on the regional donations received by United Way. Donations are sourced from donors, businesses and The Tindall Foundation.

Organisations We Fund: We fund small to medium sized not-for-profit organisations, with an emphasis on those working in the heart of the community, providing direct services to families and individuals.  In the 2018 funding rounds we invite organisations to apply from the following regions: Northland, Auckland, Manawatu, Whanganui, Wellington, Canterbury, South Canterbuty, Otago and Southland. NB. A separate grant application is required for each region and amounts per region are subject to funds available.
