Christmas Shoebox Appeal

Not every child looks forward to Christmas. Many children are living in households reporting material hardship and with Covid-19 resulting in financial pressure and interruptions to schooling and social routines, this Christmas will be particularly hard for many New Zealand children.  That is why we are asking for help with the Christmas Shoebox Appeal, to help Kiwi kids have something to smile about this season.

Changing a young New Zealander’s Christmas is as easy as 1,2,3

1. Gather your workplace, friends and family together to fill boxes with gifts (please advise us how many boxes in the form below).
2. Order the number of boxes you require (suggested donation $10/box) and we will drop the boxes to your workplace or you can pick them up from one of our nationwide bases.
3. Fill your boxes using our handy list of recommended gifts, label them with the gender and age of the child to receive the gifts. We arrange the pick up and distribution of boxes to a family in need.

Nationwide drop off centres: Auckland (C/-Rockwell Automation, Level 1, 2b Pacific Rise, Mt Wellington), Wellington (East by West Ferries, Queens Wharf), Christchurch Community House (301 Tuam St) and Dunedin Community House (301 Moray Pl). Please contact us and we will advise you when the Bases are available.

Alternatively, if you would like us to build a box of gifts for a child on your behalf (valued at $50/box) please donate here
